About Us

The Green Bandana Project is a student-based group of ten high school students from Iowa BIG, an initiative based high school learning experience. This is the second year of the project since coming to Iowa BIG and we have made great strides in our common goal. Our goal is to spread awareness about mental health and to educate others on the right steps to take to help others. Our team has been involved in not only the high school level, but has held presentations at the elementary and middle school levels as well. The Green Bandana Project is currently working to raising funds for HOPEwalk of Cedar Rapids through our 2nd Annual Wag N’ Walk!
